Nespresso Coffee Machines
If you're looking to brew your coffee shop-style drinks at your home but don't have much countertop space, consider the Essenza Mini. It's the smallest espresso maker that still makes excellent tasting espresso.
All Nespresso machines need periodic descaling to remove mineral buildup inside the machine. They notify you when it's time to descale, and are usually cleanable.
1. OriginalLine
OriginalLine is Nespresso's classic line of machines that use their hermetically-sealed pods. They create espresso and coffee and are the most affordable Nespresso machine choices. They also offer a greater range of drinks and capsules than VertuoLine. VertuoLine machines are better for those who prefer larger drinks.
The VertuoLine makes use of newer techniques and specifications to give better performance than the OriginalLine. They offer a wider range of brew sizes, including 0.85 ounces for ristretto, and 1.35 ounces for double espresso. They also offer a faster process called centrifusion that rotates the pod at 7,000 RPM, which allows more water to flow through to ensure better extraction.
VertuoLine along with technological advancements, has increased the number recyclable capsules they sell and introduced an environmentally friendly packaging system. They are now using 80% recycled aluminum for their coffee capsules, and are committed to increasing the amount of recycled and low carbon virgin aluminum in their future products.
The Lattissima Pro coffee machine is one of the most efficient nespresso machines available. It comes with a touchscreen display which lets you alter the settings. It also has a rapid heating time. It also comes with an impressive steaming wand to create a cafe-quality foam and milk texture. This machine may not be as compact as other nespresso machines but it is easy to clean and comes with an open capsule.
2. Vertuoline
The Vertuoline is a newer addition to the Nespresso lineup. It has a sleek, minimalist design and is the only machine that makes both espresso and coffee. It has a built-in frother for milk. This is a great option for people who enjoy diverse black drinks but do not want the hassle of making them separately.
Vertuoline machines have a different pod system from the OriginalLine. The pods are marked with barcodes which the machines can read to determine the size of the beverage (ristretto or cappuccino) and then add the right amount of water. This eliminates the necessity of a separate milk container and makes it much simpler to make the perfect cup of coffee or espresso.
Vertuoline machines are better in terms of quality. They create crema that is more like the thick foam that is found in the coffee shop, in contrast to the lighter Crema produced by the OriginalLine machines. The OriginalLine machines provide the most flavor, however, due to the fact that they create 19 bars of pressure to get the best flavor from the ground espresso.
The newer VertuoLine machines also utilize the process known as Centrifusion to spin the capsules faster and more evenly than Original Line machines. This improves the speed at which the water is infused and improves the overall quality of the beverage. The Vertuoline machines can also utilize a lower temperature to reduce extraction time and improve the strength of the coffee.
3. Original
This entry-level Original machine is an excellent choice for those with small space or budget. It has a smaller tank and capsule container, yet has 19 bars of pressure. This is more than enough to produce the espressos and coffees most people buy Nespresso for.
The machine is minimalist in its black design, and the top-facing buttons control all functions from turning it on to rinsing or brewing. This approach is common among Nespresso machines, and it makes them easy to learn and operate.
This model also includes a jug to make drinks using foam. The machine also comes with 11 different milk temperature settings for customizing the texture of your coffee or latte, and it can make both long and short cappuccinos as well as lattes.
The model has buttons that are labeled, making it easy to select the beverage you want to drink. The base of the capsule holder also has raised squares for controlling the amount of pressure that is applied to each pod to produce the desired size. This is a good method to ensure that the correct amount of pressure is applied and also helps to determine when the machine requires descale. 4. Creatista
If you're seeking a Nespresso machine that can make both milk-based and espresso drinks, this is the model for you. Breville (known in Europe as Sage) is the maker of this new model of Nespresso Creatista. It's an alliance between two of the industry's most renowned names - Heston Blumenthal's Sage manufactures the machine, while Breville developed its highly efficient thermocoil heating system.
The Creatista's automated steam and frothing function is the most exciting. Simply place your milk pitcher on the temperature sensor beneath the wand, and the machine will do all the work for you. It has 11 settings which allow you to alter the texture of your milk. You can also manually frost your milk if you prefer the traditional method.
Another feature that is great about the Creatista is its fast heating up time - it can be brought up to temperature in just 3 seconds, which is quicker than other Nespresso machines. The design of the machine is elegant and stylish with a stainless steel body with brushed finish that is stunning on any countertop. The high-resolution display makes it easy to use the machine for setting up, cooking food and even maintaining it. The machine is available in four colors that include black truffle (pictured), sea salt (pictured) damson blue (pictured), and stainless steel. The Creatista measures 6.7 15 12 inches (WxDxH). It's the smallest Nespresso machine on the OriginalLine, and can easily fit on any counter.
5. CitiZ
This espresso maker that is slim from Nespresso takes up less counter space than other models. It comes with a foldable tray that can hold larger glasses and mugs for recipes. This is an excellent feature for smaller kitchens, and it makes it easier to use the machine for larger recipes. The 19 bar extraction system makes it simple to create cafe-style recipes and the speedy heating process is another benefit.
The basic CitiZ does not include a milk frother, but you can purchase one separately or purchase it as part of the CitiZ&Milk bundle. This option includes the Aeroccino steamer, which allows you to make lattes and creamy cappuccinos. It is also possible to use capsules that can be reused in this model, but they're not included.

Gran Lattissima espresso and milk machine is a premium single-serve espresso machine. It has a contemporary elegant design, with matte and high-gloss finishes, stainless steel accents, and a glass touch panel. It is able to make various milk and coffee recipes with the push of a button. These include Ristretto, Espresso, Lungo, Cappuccino Latte Macchiato, Cafe Latte, Flat White, Foamed milk and Hot Milk. It's compatible with OriginalLine and third-party Nespresso Pods (doesn't work with VertuoLine, Starbucks by Nespresso or Starbucks by Nespresso).
The model differs from the previous Lattissima Touch because it has nine drink presets, of which only two are milk-based drinks. It does not offer the option of selecting your preferred milk texture for a specific recipe, however, it is possible to do this on the Lattissima Pro.
